One format. Many exams.

The viva is the common denominator across systems. One case library, reshaped to your blueprint, your cohort, and your exam date.

The case is the hero

Eight steps. One case. The whole exam in miniature.

The screen never shows the next step until you commit. That withholding is the viva — and the branching beneath it means no two run-throughs probe quite the same way.

Branch retinal vein occlusion

You are shown a 62-year-old patient with sudden painless blurring in one eye. Fundus shows sectoral haemorrhages and macular oedema. Present the case to the examiner.

A strong candidate localises it: sectoral intraretinal haemorrhages and cotton-wool spots stopping at the horizontal raphe, a dilated tortuous draining vein, and macular oedema as the cause of the drop in vision — a branch retinal vein occlusion. The curveball to anticipate: neovascularisation and the ischaemic index.

Got it Partial Missed

Lead with readiness, not ranking.

The primary number everywhere is your personal exam-readiness — framed as “78% ready,” never “42 cases left.” No leaderboards to churn an already-anxious cohort.

Mastered > done.

A case only turns gold after you pass a delayed re-test — never on first pass. Mastery is stored value you can see accruing, not a vanity click-through.

Blueprint coverage

Coverage across the exam map.

The final app will turn your weakest blueprint cells into the next thing to practise, so the choice burden stays low when exam pressure is high.
